How do I find my tariff if I am a 3 Mobile customer?
- Click on the '3 Tariff Information' link on callcosts.co.uk
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and enter your number in the bottom left window (Check a call cost)
- Press ‘GO’
- The cost of your call will be shown underneath where you entered the number
How do I find my tariff if I am an O2 Mobile customer?
- Click on the 'O2 Tariff Information' link on callcosts.co.uk
- Scroll down to the ‘Premium Rate Numbers and Prices’ link and click on it
- This will open a pdf showing tables of 09 numbers
- Look for the first 6 digits of the number you are checking in the 'Premium Rate Numbers column'
- The cost of your call is in the 'call rates' column next to the number
- ppm means pence per minute (you will be charged each minute you are on the call), ppc means pence per call (you will be charged once regardless of duration)
How do I find my tariff if I am an Orange Mobile customer?
- Click on the 'Orange Tariff Information' link on callcosts.co.uk
- Pick which package you are on.
- Pay Monthly Customers:
- For 09 Premium Rate number call charges, click on the link 'pay monthly 09 Premium Rate number call charges' link.
- Within the table, find the first 7 digits that fit the number you are enquiring about.
- You will then be advised whether the charge is a Fixed Charge (FC), meaning that the charge shown is what you pay no matter what the length of the call is; or Minimum Call Charge and Per Second Billing (Min CC and PSB), meaning that you incur the charge shown for the first minute, and then charged per second thereafter.
- For all other Premium Rate numbers, click on the 'pay monthly price guide'.
- The table on page 18 shows you the charges per minute to premium rate numbers
- Pay as You Go Customers:
- For 09 Premium Rate number call charges, click on the link 'pay monthly 09 Premium Rate number call charges' link.

- Pick which package you are on.
- Pay as you Go Customers:
- Click on ‘Pay as You Go customer call charges’ at the bottom of the page.
- A pdf table will open with three columns. The first column is for 070 numbers, the second for 080 numbers, and the third for 090 numbers. Scroll down until you find the first 7 or 8 numbers, and that will be the charge for your call

How do I find my tariff if I am a Vodafone customer?
- Click on the 'Vodafone Tariff Information' link on callcosts.co.uk
- To check the tariff of an 090 number, enter the first 7 digits of the number into the box provided, and click 'check rate'
- To check other premium rate numbers, do the following:
- Pay as you Go Customers:
- Scroll to the bottom of the page, and click on 'Go to current Pay as you go premium rate charges' link
- The page will show you a table with call costs for prefixes 05, 07 and 08
- Pay Monthly Customers:
- Scroll to the bottom of the page, and click on 'Go to current Pay monthly premium rate call charges' link
- The page will show you a table with call costs for prefixes 05, 07 and 08
How do I find my tariff if I am an Orange Landline customer?
- Click on the 'Orange Tariff Information' link on callcosts.co.uk (In the Landline Network section)
- Keep scrolling down until you see the bold black title with the two digit prefix for the number you are checking (ie: 09 UK Numbers)
- Scroll down until you find the first 6 or 7 digits for the number you are checking. The table will tell you what you will be charged under the three categories: Duration Based Charging, Fixed Charge per Call and Fixed Charge for first 60 seconds
How do I find my tariff if I am a Kingston Communications customer?
- Click on ‘Kingston 09 Banding Information’ link on callcosts.co.uk
- In the table at the top, click on the section which shows the first four digits for your number (this will bring you to the right section of the long page)
- Write down the KC Band number.
- Now go back to the callcosts.co.uk website and click on ‘Kingston Tariff Information’ link
- At the top of the page will be a number of links to bring you to the right section of the document. (For 09 numbers, you may have to try a couple of the links before you find the right section where your code is listed.) Click on the appropriate link, and check the table for the code you wrote down earlier. It should be listed under ‘code’. You may have to scroll further down the page to find it.
- Once you have found your code, the table will inform you of the rates that your landline will be charged for making that call, and for what time of the day (or evening) you make that call.
How do I find my tariff if I am a Virgin Media customer?
- Click on the ‘Virgin Media Chargeband Information’ link on callcosts.co.uk. This will download a pdf of their chargeband codes.
- Scroll down the page until you find the first 6 or 7 digits of the number you are searching. The column beside it will give you a chargeband code. Write this down.
- Go back to the callcosts.co.uk site and click on the ‘Virgin Media Tariff Information’ link. This will download a pdf of their tariffs.
- Keep scrolling down until you see a page titled, ‘Call rates to Fixed-fee numbers’ (page 11). Search this table for your chargeband code. Beside it will be listed the charges you will incur when dialling the number you searched.
